Meet Douglas, the wonderfully soft and mischievous monkey with a talent for finding trouble and a habit of dragging his favourite human into it.

Douglas is made from soft chocolate-speckled plush with a contrasting caramel face and corduroy details on his feet.

Douglas loves chasing the family dog, playing hide-and-seek, and building blanket forts in the lounge room. He doesn't like thunderstorms.

His favourite partner in mischief is Delores monkey, his girlfriend and the calmer one who bakes with grandma while he pretends to help.

Each Douglas monkey arrives with his own character tag, a small story in his own words. Every forever friend deserves a proper introduction, and children treasure the ones who feel like more than a toy.

Douglas is the friend they'll reach for at 2am, and the one who ends up in every family photo for the next twenty years.

Safe for your baby from day one, thoughtfully made for the smallest hands, Douglas is a beautiful new baby gift, baby shower present, or a child's first plush monkey. He measures approximately 25cm.

Care Instructions
  • I love adventures but I do need to be looked after. Spot clean with a damp cloth for small marks. This is the gentlest option and will extend the life of me.
  • I do love a bath (especially with bubbles and a good book) but I'm just as happy with a simple wash in a bucket, it helps me stay soft and last for years to come. (don't soak me for too long)
  • If a full wash is needed, place me in a mesh laundry bag and machine wash on a gentle cold cycle.
  • Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach.
